Zschimmer & Schwarz, the German-based manufacturer of spin finishes and additives for the global fiber and nonwovens industry is introducing Lertisan HD 50, the newest addition to its product range for nonwoven applications. Lertisan HD 50 represents a major breakthrough as an additive for the manufacturing of durable hydrophilic nonwovens. In time for this years INDEX nonwovens trade show, Zschimmer & Schwarz will present this product to the global nonwovens community. The main advantages of Lertisan HD 50 are a simplified emulsion preparation and improved emulsion stability, easier application and superior durable hydrophilic properties. This is the product the industry has been waiting for, said Stefan Sulzmaier, the division head of Zschimmer & Schwarz Fibre and Nonwovens Division.
